Raul Caruso – Economia della Pace

On June 14 (h 18:00) @ Polifactory will be presented the book Economia della Pace by Raul Caruso.

Peace economy studies the causes and the economic consequences of wars and other forms of violence, and analyses the growth and development of institutions aimed at resolving conflictual destruction scenarios. The discipline has both macro and micro dimensions. In fact, there’s a “macro” level of conflict that involves states, their foreign policy and their political economies, and a “micro” conflict in society among the relations between states, social groups, intermediate formations and citizens.

The event propose is to meet up and discuss about this emerging discipline of economics with the scientific culture, in order to trigger a public debate exploring the relationship between innovation and the economy of peace.
