Tlaloque. Il nanofiltro idratante per situazioni a rischio.
Illegal Mexican migrants crossing the US border through the desert have limited resources, are not well-prepared and above all have no proper clothes. At a frontier where there are no shaded areas and characterized by poor vegetation, migrants are forced to undertake a 10 to 25 days long journey, walking in the sun at extreme temperatures, counting on very limited food and water reserves. Many of them suffer from dehydration in the middle of the desert, and their only hope is to find a frontier patrol. The water that these subjects have available has a low organoleptic quality and it is to be considered that in those climatic conditions the bacteria proliferate very quickly; That’s why they need an efficient water purification system, which is easy to use and does not require effort.
Nancy’s design is like a bracelet that becomes a straw; the device uses a capsule of electrolytes to filter water and allow migrants to hydrate safely.
