In order to try to  answer this question, Polifactory organized a 3 seminars cycle entitled “Designology or Technosign?” to explore and understand how the relation between design and society is evolving and weaving. These seminars examine this relation from different points of view, from manufacturing technologies to contemporary product service systems.

The first seminar – on April 21st, 2016 – entitled New and Personal Robotics is curated by Prof. Andrea Bonarini (DEIB – Politecnico di Milano); it investigates the new personal robotics scenarios, focusing on emerging methods for fast prototyping, making and DIY.
